Chris Lee

Kent-born Chris Lee and his wife Hayley have run the award-winning The Bildeston Crown in Suffolk since 2003. Chef Chris Lee quickly attained AA two rosette status increasing this to 3 by 2007 when he was also named an “Up-and-coming chef” in The Good Food Guide. He started ‘quite literally from the bottom’ at the age of sixteen, as a Kitchen Porter in a hotel in Northampton, and has recently won the ‘Taste of England: Gold’ award.
